For decades, Great Galleon Ventures Limited (GGVL) has powered India’s consumer goods ecosystem as a trusted manufacturing partner. Today, the Madhya Pradesh–based company is creating a new story of change—one that blends heritage with sustainability—through the relaunch of its homegrown beverage brand V21 in 100% rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles.

A Bottle That Redefines Premium

The new V21 bottle is not just packaging—it’s proof that waste can be transformed into value. Made entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic, the sleek 180ml flask is lightweight, stylish, and travel-friendly. Each production cycle saves 5.7 million litres of water, offsets 138.7 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, and conserves enough energy to power Chandigarh for a day.

Empowering a Circular Future

India generates 3.4 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, with less than 30% effectively recycled. By embracing rPET, GGVL is showing how circular packaging can cut solid waste by 42%—an inspiring example of how industry can lead climate action while staying consumer-focused.

Aligning With New Consumer Values

V21’s liquid remains the same—smooth, triple-distilled, and offered in Original, Green Apple, and Orange—but the experience is reimagined. Younger consumers, especially Gen Z and millennials, are increasingly seeking brands with purpose. With 62% of Indians preferring sustainability-driven companies, V21 connects culture with conscience.

A Legacy with Purpose

This isn’t a retrofit—sustainability has to be designed in from the beginning,” says Utsav Kedia, VP – Business Growth at GGVL, reflecting on the company’s Bold Planet charter, which is eliminating wasteful packaging, adopting sustainable inks, and driving systemic change.

From a company that began its journey in 1969 to a brand that is now pioneering eco-conscious premium beverages, the relaunch of V21 is more than a product update—it’s a positive story of change for India’s packaging and beverage industry.
