IIM Bangalore Launches MOOC on ESG and Sustainability: A Step Towards Responsible Business Practices

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has unveiled its first-ever Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) titled “From Theory to Practice: Implementing ESG and Sustainability in Business”. This innovative course aims to educate participants on the critical principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and how to seamlessly integrate sustainability into business operations. Hosted on Swayam, a Government of India platform offering free high-quality education, the course will also be available in Hindi, making it accessible to a broader audience.

While the course is free of cost, participants can opt for a certificate by registering for the final examination with a nominal fee.

The course is led by Dr. Aditya Gupta, Chief Operating Officer of the TCI-IIMB Supply Chain Sustainability Lab. With extensive experience in leading corporate roles at Tata Group, TVS Group, Jindal Group, Virgin Mobile, and Moser Baer, Dr. Gupta brings a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical expertise to the program.
