Serentica Renewables, one of India’s leading renewable energy providers, has announced the appointment of Anil Kumar Singh as Director – Operations. Based in Mumbai, Anil will report directly to Akshay Hiranandani, Chief Executive Officer, and will play a key role in enhancing the company’s operational and execution capabilities as it scales its renewable energy portfolio across India.
With over 33 years of experience across multiple sectors including ports, cement, petrochemicals, thermal power, electricity distribution, telecom, and renewables, Anil brings extensive expertise in large-scale project management, operational efficiency, and process optimisation.
Before joining Serentica, Anil served as Chief Project Officer at Adani Green Energy Limited, where he led the company’s asset management, operations, and project functions. He has also held senior leadership positions at Tata Power, Tata Power Delhi Distribution, and Tata Teleservices, where he drove key technical and operational initiatives across diverse verticals.

Anil holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering from IIT Roorkee and an MBA in Finance from FMS, Delhi.
