In a significant boost to its global renewable energy portfolio, Waaree Energies Ltd., one of India’s largest solar module manufacturers, has announced a fresh international order win through its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas.

The company disclosed that it has received a 452 MW solar module supply order from a prominent U.S.-based developer and operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This order, confirmed on August 26, 2025, reflects Waaree’s strengthening role in advancing clean energy adoption across North America.

Major Breakthrough for Waaree in the U.S. Market

According to the agreement, Waaree Solar Americas will deliver the modules during FY 2025-26 and FY 2026-27, marking one of the company’s largest overseas contracts to date. The supply deal is structured as a one-time order, underscoring Waaree’s ability to cater to large-scale renewable energy demands in global markets.

Importantly, Waaree clarified that this transaction is independent and conducted at arm’s length, with no involvement of promoters or related parties. This assurance highlights the company’s transparent business practices as it expands internationally.

Rising Demand for Solar in North America

This development comes at a time when the United States is rapidly scaling up renewable energy deployment, with solar and energy storage forming the backbone of its clean energy strategy. The new order positions Waaree as a trusted supplier in one of the world’s most competitive renewable energy markets.

Strengthening India’s Global Clean Energy Footprint

With this milestone, Waaree Energies continues to expand beyond India, reinforcing its reputation as a leading global solar module manufacturer. As the demand for sustainable power solutions surges, the company’s international partnerships highlight both India’s manufacturing capabilities and its growing role in shaping the global energy transition.
