He succeeds Nikhil Pathak, who retires after nearly 15 years of distinguished service with the company. Pathak played a key role in driving Schneider Electric’s growth, innovation, and business transformation across multiple domains.

A Proven Track Record in Global Leadership
Amit Sharma will lead Schneider Electric’s Power Products and Digital Energy business with full P&L responsibility, focusing on advancing the company’s transformation journey in alignment with its sustainability and growth goals.
With nearly three decades of industry experience, Sharma has held several strategic roles at Schneider Electric, including international assignments in France, where he led global marketing, digital transformation, and product development for the Medium Voltage (MV) segment. He was instrumental in shaping the global MV AIS portfolio and spearheaded the “India for India” Power Systems initiative, fostering market-specific innovation in collaboration with Lauritz Knudsen MV R&D teams.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Amit spent 14 years with ABB, where he gained extensive experience in energy systems and power infrastructure.
