With over three decades of experience in battery manufacturing, energy storage design, and strategic business transformation, Mr. Arun Mittal brings unmatched expertise to his new role. His career reflects a consistent record of driving operational excellence, building strategic partnerships, and fostering innovation in India’s evolving energy landscape.
Prior to joining VSL Powerhive, he served as the Managing Director & CEO (India) at Lohum Cleantech Pvt. Ltd., where he strengthened the company’s India operations and advanced battery recycling and circular-economy frameworks — key pillars of sustainable energy development.
Before his tenure at Lohum, he served as the Managing Director & CEO of Exide Energy Solutions Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in defining Exide’s lithium-ion mobility storage manufacturing blueprint, helping the company transition into next-generation battery technologies.
A Legacy of Excellence at Exide Industries
Mr. Mittal’s professional journey also includes an illustrious 31-year tenure at Exide Industries Ltd., where he rose from Management Trainee to Executive Director of the Automotive and Industrial Divisions. During his time at Exide, he was instrumental in leading innovation-driven initiatives, driving market expansion, and enhancing manufacturing capabilities to meet India’s growing energy demands.
