DEE Fabricom Strengthens Presence in Wind Energy Sector

The latest contract further enhances DEE Fabricom’s position within India’s growing wind energy value chain. The company has been steadily expanding its capabilities in manufacturing large-scale engineered structures and fabrication solutions for renewable energy projects.

With increasing investments flowing into India’s clean energy sector and the government’s continued focus on expanding renewable energy capacity, the order is expected to create additional opportunities for specialized engineering and manufacturing companies operating in the sector.

Growing Opportunities in Renewable Energy Infrastructure

Commenting on the development, K. L. Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director, DEE Development Engineers Ltd, said:

“With our continued participation in India’s renewable energy growth story, this order further reflects customers’ confidence in our manufacturing quality and execution capabilities. The wind energy sector is witnessing strong momentum, supported by policy initiatives, capacity addition targets, and growing investments in clean energy infrastructure. DEE Fabricom has steadily strengthened its capabilities in this segment, and we believe the increasing scale of renewable energy deployment will continue to create meaningful opportunities for specialised manufacturing partners. We remain focused on delivering this project efficiently while further expanding our presence across high-growth infrastructure sectors.”

The company believes that rising demand for renewable energy infrastructure will continue to drive growth across the engineering, fabrication, and industrial manufacturing sectors.

India’s Wind Energy Market Continues to Expand

India remains one of the world’s largest renewable energy markets, with wind energy playing a critical role in achieving the country’s clean energy and decarbonisation goals.

As policymakers continue to promote renewable power generation through supportive regulations, capacity expansion programs, and infrastructure investments, demand for wind turbine components, towers, and associated equipment is expected to remain strong over the coming years.

The Ganeko Solar order reflects the growing momentum within the sector and highlights the increasing need for reliable domestic manufacturing partners capable of delivering large-scale renewable energy infrastructure.

Strong Financial Performance Supports Future Growth

DEE Development Engineers reported robust financial performance during FY26, driven by strong execution across its engineering, fabrication, piping, and renewable energy businesses.

For the financial year ended FY26, the company reported:

  • Revenue of ₹1,142 crore, up 38% year-on-year
  • Operating EBITDA of ₹191 crore, up 54% year-on-year
  • Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹77 crore, up 77% year-on-year

The company also maintained a strong order pipeline, with its order book standing at ₹2,433.90 crore as of May 31, 2026.

Outlook Remains Positive

The addition of the Ganeko Solar project further strengthens DEE Fabricom’s position in the renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem while providing greater visibility for future revenue growth.

With a healthy order book, expanding presence in renewable energy infrastructure, and growing demand for wind and clean energy projects across India, DEE Development Engineers is well-positioned to capitalize on opportunities emerging from the country’s energy transition and infrastructure development initiatives.

As India accelerates renewable energy deployment to meet its long-term sustainability and energy security goals, companies involved in specialized manufacturing and engineering solutions are expected to play an increasingly important role in supporting the sector’s growth.
