  • Deliveries Scheduled Through FY2027
  • Evervolt’s Andhra Pradesh Manufacturing Facility
  • Advanced Mono PERC Technology
  • Supporting India’s Renewable Energy Goals
  • Strengthening the Domestic Solar Value Chain

Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will procure DCR-compliant mono PERC 10BB crystalline solar cells manufactured in India to support its solar module production facilities.

The partnership aligns with the government’s focus on strengthening domestic solar manufacturing under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) framework while reducing dependence on imported solar components.

Deliveries Scheduled Through FY2027

According to the agreement, Evervolt Solar Technology India will supply 130 MW of domestically manufactured solar cells between July 2026 and March 2027.

The cells will be used in Vikram Solar’s module manufacturing operations, supporting the company’s growing portfolio of utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and rooftop solar projects across India.

The agreement also strengthens the domestic supply chain for India’s rapidly expanding solar industry.

Evervolt’s Andhra Pradesh Manufacturing Facility

The solar cells will be produced at Evervolt Solar Technology India’s manufacturing facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

The facility has an annual production capacity of 1,074 MW and is listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List II for solar cells.

Being ALMM-listed enables manufacturers to supply products for government-supported solar projects while ensuring compliance with India’s domestic manufacturing requirements.

Advanced Mono PERC Technology

Evervolt manufactures bifacial mono PERC crystalline silicon solar cells using 182.2 mm × 182.2 mm wafers with a 10-busbar (10BB) design.

The solar cells offer:

  • Cell efficiency ranging from 22.0% to 23.5%
  • Power output between 7.264 W and 7.759 W per cell
  • DCR (Domestic Content Requirement) compliance
  • Bifacial technology for improved energy generation

These high-efficiency cells are designed to improve module performance while supporting higher energy yields in utility-scale and commercial solar installations.

Supporting India’s Renewable Energy Goals

The collaboration comes as India continues to expand its domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem to support ambitious renewable energy targets.

Government initiatives promoting locally manufactured solar modules and cells are encouraging greater investment in integrated manufacturing, helping build a resilient supply chain for the country’s clean energy transition.

By sourcing domestically manufactured solar cells, Vikram Solar aims to strengthen local manufacturing capabilities while supporting India’s vision of becoming a global renewable energy manufacturing hub.

Strengthening the Domestic Solar Value Chain

The agreement reflects the increasing collaboration between Indian solar manufacturers to develop a robust domestic solar value chain.

With demand for high-efficiency solar modules continuing to grow across utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and residential markets, partnerships like this are expected to play an important role in reducing import dependence, improving supply security, and accelerating India’s transition toward clean energy.

As investments in renewable energy continue to rise, domestic manufacturing partnerships will remain a key driver of India’s long-term energy security and sustainable economic growth.
