New Delhi: Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), one of India’s leading renewable energy companies, has appointed Poly Singh Arora as its Chief People Officer (CPO). The appointment strengthens the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio while building a future-ready workforce to support long-term business growth.

With more than 23 years of experience across human resources, organizational transformation, leadership development, talent management, and strategic business partnering, Arora will lead AGEL’s people strategy, focusing on building a high-performance culture and aligning human capital initiatives with the company’s growth and sustainability ambitions.

Driving a Future-Ready Workforce

As Chief People Officer, Poly Singh Arora will oversee the company’s human resources strategy, including leadership capability development, employee engagement, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent management.

Her appointment comes at a time when organizations across the energy sector are investing heavily in leadership development and workforce transformation to support rapid business expansion, digital transformation, and sustainability initiatives.

By strengthening its people-first approach, Adani Green Energy aims to enhance organizational agility while attracting and retaining top talent in India’s growing renewable energy industry.

Brings Extensive HR Leadership Experience

Before joining Adani Green Energy, Arora served as Head – Human Resources at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA), where she worked closely with senior leadership to drive HR transformation, organizational capability, and business-aligned people strategies.

Earlier, she spent nearly six years at VFS Global as Regional HR Head – South Asia, leading HR operations and talent initiatives across multiple countries in the region.

Leadership Across Diverse Industries

Over the course of her career, Arora has held several senior HR leadership roles across aviation, telecom, and global services.

She previously served as Assistant General Manager – Human Resources at Vodafone India, where she played an important role in talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and employee engagement.

Her broad industry experience has enabled her to successfully lead organizational change, develop leadership pipelines, and implement workforce strategies aligned with evolving business priorities.
