ACME Solar Holdings Limited has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the development of a 300 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid renewable energy project. The agreement marks another milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion strategy while reinforcing India’s transition toward clean and reliable power generation.
With the latest agreement, ACME Solar’s PPA-backed renewable energy capacity has increased to 6,870 MW, strengthening its long-term project pipeline and supporting the country’s growing demand for sustainable electricity.
Long-Term Renewable Energy Partnership
The agreement has been signed through ACME Renewtech Fifth Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings.
Under the 25-year contract, the company will develop and operate a hybrid renewable energy project that combines solar and wind power generation, enabling a more balanced and consistent supply of clean electricity.
The tariff for the project has already received approval from both Central and State electricity regulators, providing regulatory clarity and supporting timely project implementation.
Project to Leverage Existing Transmission Infrastructure
